Cirandas
Inspired by the musical work Cirandas e Cirandinhas by the Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, Cirandas seeks to value elements of Brazilian popular culture and aspects of human relationships such as camaraderie and affection. Through the different images that make up the show, the audience is invited to live the emotions and memories brought by each of the songs, which are also part of the Brazilian folklore. At the same time, it is proposed a reflection on the current human condition and the desires of a greater integration between individuals. Cirandas was created for 14 performers of the Curitiba Cia de Dança, in 2018.
