Soma
Based on the differences and similarities between two dancing sisters, Soma is a study of the influence of genetic characteristics on the expressive characteristics of each performer. The duet was built from the combination of commonalities and differentiating factors, maintaining individuality and at the same time trying to work on the reciprocal influences that could be generated through dancing together. Soma was created for the Choreographic Workshop of Balé Teatro Guaíra, a project in which the dancers have at their disposal the structure and support of the company's team for the development of their own creations.
Creation on June 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2007, at Teatro Guaíra, Auditório Salvador de Ferrante, in Curitiba, Brazil.
